Hiya Everyone!  We are so happy to welcome you to SewWith.BambinoAmore.com.  If you have seen our Bambino Amore aprons floating around the internet (social media or our Etsy shop), then you know that our primary business for the past ten years has been hand crafting some of the most creative aprons on the market, but, we are so proud to be fully embarking on this new portion of our business - our patterns + tutorials - and to share our sewing/designing knowledge with you!

Bambino Amore is a business that was dreamed up by my mother (Robbie) and me (Kate), while living in San Antonio, way back in 2008 when we needed a creative outlet AND an income that allowed us to be "on-call" for my aging grandparents who were in need of more and more help on a regular basis.  Mom already had a long history with sewing and drafting patterns by that point, but, I had almost none of either.  I tease her that one of her greatest accomplishments was being able to teach me to sew and design.

In the early years we were able to really hone our skills and create innovative aprons in a way that caught the attention of news outlets like HLN and large retail companies, allowing us to partner with some of them, including Glue Dots and Sephora.  As we transitioned to and helped to pioneer the "costume apron" genre, we garnered more attention and gained more of a following on social media.  And this helped us firmly establish ourselves in the top 1% of all sellers on Etsy (and there are nearly 2 million shop owners on Etsy)!

Fast forward a couple of years, and here we are now - still one in the top 1% on Etsy!  Through SewWithBambinoAmore.com, we are putting all of our experience and expertise to good use for you. By sharing our vast knowledge base of both the successes and pitfalls we have had with Bambino Amore with you.  And of course, sharing our handcrafted patterns and tutorials with you to sharpen your sewing skills!
